It was totally rainy day in Minto last weekend - it rained hard when we got up, it rained just as hard on the way to the range, it rained buckets while we were shooting and it rained on the way home. Despite this we had a good time and shot pretty well to boot.
The temperature stayed around 12-15C so it felt a little cool (a lot of us wore jackets for the first time this summer). The wind was a pretty consistent right to left with gusts coming through the hollow - a few surprises but not extreme.
Today, Wayne K. was the Match Director. Don M. was the head scorer while Wayne K. verified the scores. Thank goodness for John McC. and Tony L. who had rain coats and Dave C. with an umbrella - these fellas did all the target changing. The important thing is to mix it up and try as many types of targets as you can. This will help you in your preferred disciplines of shooting while also making you a better shooter overall.
