Thanks to Darryl K. for the pics and to Volker T. for the results.

The weather was good for this shoot. It was sunny and temperatures ranged from 14-23C. Winds were not bad; ranging from 7-17km W/SW, but mirage did cause some challenges to shooters. Running two relays made for a quick shoot.  Thanks to all who helped with the scoring , target setting and range officering, etc. Following are the scores:

AUGUST 14, 2022 - PETITCODIAC - 22RF BR - RESULTS

The day started out with rain, predicted in 25-40mm amounts. Well, it surely was wet for the first relay. The targets were soaking wet, and clung to one another. It was necessary to gingerly separate them and let them dry before scoring.  The scoring was a slow task for our diligent scorer.  The rain stopped for the second set of targets. Three 500 scores were posted.

The temperature was a decent 18-20C and winds were light with 10-20km gusts and some quiet spells. Timing of shots proved fruitful. Fourteen shooters enjoyed themselves regardless of the dampness which was offset by our nice wood stove. Thanks to scorer John McC., and verifier Dan G. for dealing with the 'soft' targets. Thanks also to all the target crew, our range officers, Bruce B. and Darryl K. (photographer), and Dan G. for the sweets.
Sadly we learned today of the passing of one of our comrades, Carl Jamieson. He was a true gentleman and friend to all. We will miss him, and send sincerest condolences to Barb and her family from all of our shooters.
