It felt so good to come to a shoot, sit outside with the other shooters and not freeze half to death or brave a cold hurricane. Today the sun was up all day and even though it started out being a bit cold - 2 or 3C below zero, it warmed up quickly and the afternoon witnessed temperatures in the 18 to 20C range. Some of us even had our coats open or took them right off - WOW - spring has definitely come to New Brunswick.

Not only that, but the winds were very mild - in the 5 to 10km/hr range - with winds picking up a bit in the early afternoon. Even though they weren't punishing, the wind did do its tricky thing as is usual in Petitcodiac. For the first relay the prevailing wind was left to right and dead calm - or so it seemed. There was
obviously something going on that wasn't obvious as bullets did not always hit where they were supposed to. The second relay saw more right to left winds and a lot less calm so a prevailing wind zero had to be found again.
day tremendously and did some pretty good shooting. Only 3 points separated the top 6 shooters.
