Some CHANGES and IMPROVEMENTS to this BENCHREST SITE

MORE NEW ITEMS ADDED - February 2, 2013; February 10, 2013

This is to let you know that there have been a few more changes in the New Brunswick Benchrest Shooting site. These changes have to do with features and services which are available on the right hand side of the page.

New  At the very top is a new link to the RNBRA Fullbore, (Long-range, Precision shooting) site.
Then comes  "check the weather before you go to the shoot".
Third is the option to translate the whole page from English to any other language. New and easier to use translation tool.
Fourth is an option to search the site and all the links for the information you want.
Next are the up-dated shooting schedules for the various clubs. Petitcodiac Revised Feb 2.
New  Below each Club's schedule is a Google Map for directions to that club's range.
After this is an option to receive each new post in your e-mail "Inbox" shortly after it is posted.
Then there is a section where members can join up - the more the merrier - you can join anonymously if you prefer - joining seems to give easier access to the Google services which we use on this site (Google Docs, Spreadsheets).

New  Then there is a revised section which is called "Useful Organizational Links". These are links to local, national or international benchrest sites of interest.
New Link to Canadian Border Services Agency: Importing a Firearm or Weapon into Canada

New  The section after this is called "Articles and Information". This is for shooting information that, hopefully, we will all find useful or helpful in making us better shooters and re-loaders. This section will include articles that the members write themselves - we all have lots of good information accumulated over years of shooting and if we want to, we can use this particular section to share that information. We might but we don't have to agree either. I have started the ball rolling with an article on Shooting in the Wind - some basics I have learned in the last few years. This section may also include good referrence information that we come across in surfing the web and that we'd like to share with others. E-mail me and I'll link it up. If you are writing something it would probably be best to use Google Docs to write the article and then we'll link it to this blog-site. Please don't think you have to be a Shakespeare to share information (Shakespeare wasn't a shooter anyhow!).

Further down the page on the right is the Blog Archive - a list of all the posts on the blog-site. These are organised by year and month. During the current year click on the month to view older posts. For past years, simply click on the year.
Following that is the Petitcodiac "Rimfire 500 Club" members with their scores and also the Petitcodiac "Centrefire 300 Club" members with their scores.
New  A new addition is the Lake George "Rimfire 400 Club" with 3 new members.
New  Another new addition is the Minto Gun Club "Rimfire 400 Club" with one new member as well as the Minto Gun Club "Centerfire 300 Club" with 4 new members.

New (*Please note that the names have been derived from available records. If you know of someone or yourself who shot a perfect target in the past and is not in one of these listings, please contact bertdevink@gmail.com with location, date and score)

Finally, you may have missed this, but at the end of every post is a "Comment" section. Most often it says "No Comment" meaning no-one has commented yet. You can write whatever comment you like, express any opinion, or start any conversation by clicking on the "Comment/No Comment".
New  Comments have to be vetted for "appropriate language" before they can be posted but the idea is to simply remove the offending section and leave the rest intact. This is the place to get "interactive" for each topic.
