Today was a good day travelling to the shoot. The highways were clear, and nice to see the vast fields clear of snow. The rifle range floor was clear as well; good to see. When we arrived, Charles McQ. already had the stove warm and target frames set; Thanks.
The sky was overcast at first, but changed to sunny later. The temperature range was 9C to 19C. But the wind was another story. It ranged from 20km and gusted to 40km at times! Even for Petticodiac, it was challenging. But a couple 'wind wisperers' were quite successful. Congrats to our top three shooters: Darryl K., Dave C., and Barb J.
Medals were also presented to Cecil H. and Barb J. for last month's .22rimfire BR shoot. John McC absent.
Thanks to Barb J and John M. for the tasty sweets, which quickly disappeared. Some shooters need that bit of sugar to hit those X's, lol. Thanks to Chris S., Dan G. and Dave C. for target setting. And thanks to the score Verifiers, Charles McQ. and Dave C. Range officers were Bruce B. and Dan G. Scorer and Director, Volker.
