Our March 22 Cal. Benchrest Shoot was held today at the Minto Range. The first relay shooters found the -26 degree temp and tricky Minto wind quite challenging. As theshoot progressed the temp made it up to 0 degrees with increased cloud and wind .Many marksmen huddled around the clubhouse stove as soon as they completed their turn. Thanks to Wayne K. and George M. for tending the stove.
There were six relays today - a long day. Thanks to everyone who helped out to make it a lovely day. The "Target crew" - Shawn R., Ben F., George M. and Mike C. "The Scorers" - Don M. and Wayne K. "The Range Officers" - Dan G., Dave C., Bill H., Barb J., Darryl K. and Matthew McA. Everyone enjoyed Dave's coffee and Barb's sweets. 
Today's winners were, in the Open Class 1st- Cecil, 2nd- Dave C. Sporter Class 1st-Shawn 2nd-Dan G. Congratulations to all the winners and especially Shawn who won his first, "first place" medal. Our thoughts were with Bert and Volker today as they are on the mend.
