JUNE 26, 2022 - MINTO - CENTERFIRE TEAM SHOOT - RESULTS

The Annual CF Team Match was hosted today by the Minto Gun Club. The weather started out with overcast skies, but soon turned into sunny weather with temps in the 28-30C range. Winds were very light but frequently changing directions and speed. Shooters had to pay attention to these changes and occasional mirage.  Nevertheless, some good scores were posted. The Petitcodiac Sportsmen Team took 1st place. Scores as following.
Shooters arrived and had the opportunity for some morning sweets and beverages. Thanks to Barb J. and Dave C. for this. Barb's homemade jam was delicious as well. The lady can cook and shoot! Dave made a quick trip at noon to supply a couple of tasty pizzas to treat the hungry crowd.  Thanks also to Scorer Don M., and Verifier John McC. And to the target changers and Range Officers. Great job done by all.
Congrats to the top Scorers, John McC., and Dave C.

JUNE 19, 2022 - PETITCODIAC RIMFIRE BR - RESULTS

The weather for this match was very cooperative with warm 20C temperatures and clear sunny skies.  Mosquitoes were around to annoy us as well, of course. The light wind conditions made for almost half of the shooters getting a 500 score, and nineteen shooters getting 250 score targets. The top scores were separated with a handful of X's. A couple shots fired made a big difference in position status. Timing of no wind conditions was a big factor on relays.
Congrats to Wayne LeB. for achieving his entry into the PSC  500 Club Award with a Crest and inscription on the plaque. Congrats to all of the 500 shooters today as well.
Thanks to Grant H., Dan G. and John M.  for target duty. And a big Thank You to Barb J. for her delicious squares and cookies, which were devoured promptly. Thanks to Barb J. for the pictures taken. Range Officers were Bruce B. and Dale H. Thanks guys.  Scorer was Volker T. and Verifier was John McC.

JUNE 5, 2022 - PETITCODIAC - CENTERFIRE - RESULTS

Thanks to John C. for sending these results and to Danny G. for the write-up:
Although we had a poor turnout we had some good scores.  John McC. placed 1st with an awesome 300/13x shooting his 30BR , Tony L. placed second shooting Shelly’s 6ppc for 299/12x. Danny G. brought up the rear with a less than spectacular 298/18x for third place.  We only had four shooters and I hope that this is not our new reality with the scarcity of components and the price of fuel keeping people home.
