April 7 - you'd think it would be a wonderful spring day by now but, true to the overall temperatures this year, it was a bit of cold overcast day with temperatures finally coming out of the "cold" category only after lunch time. It was only then that snow started to melt and shooters were coming out to enjoy the sun.
Although we were all glad to hang out with friends and fellow shooters and many of us finally caught up with our pals, we were a bit humbled by the wind conditions today. The Minto wind was brutal and easily tossed the 22RF bullets 3 rings out of the 10 (some even had the extra joy of seeing a lovely little hole 6 or more rings out).Despite the horrible conditions, some very good shooting was done - congrats to all.
The Match Director was Don M. who also served as head scorer while Wayne K. did the score verification. Thanks to Ben F. and Shawn R. who changed targets for the whole match.
