Here is the report for yesterday's shoot. Many Thanks Volker!
"The day was sunny with cool temps at -4 to -2C. Snow is slowly receding leaving ice conditions that made for cautious walking for the targetsetters. Winds were light to moderate at 20, gusting to 32km, and at times swirling on the range - a condition we have come to expect.
Eleven shooters were eager to brave the cool air for the first CF shoot of this month. Everyone was in good spirits. Brian brought his new Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5mm Creedmore with factory ammo and shot quite well. It will be interesting to see when he handloads for it. Thanks to Dan G., Shelly C., and John M. for the sweets which went fast as shooters huddled around the wood stove for warmth. Targets were set by Dan G. and John McC. who were also the Range Officers for the match. Directing and Scoring was by Volker.
Medals were also presented to the top shooters for the past February 17th match: 1st, Bert deV.(absent); 2nd , John McC.; and 3rd, Dan G. We also take this time to wish Bert a speedy and full recovery from his recent surgery. We look forward to seeing you on the range again with all your shooting friends.
