The fall is definitely here in New Brunswick with bright and vivid displays of leaves all over the province and with a -4C temperature recorded first thing in the morning on our way to the range. The little frost on the windshield came off quickly with the scraping. A fore-cast of 16C for the afternoon raised the expectation of a fine centerfire championship shoot. When we arrived Wayne K. had already warmed up the clubhouse with a fire in the stove (welcome indeed for some old bones).
The attendance was a bit disappointing with only a portion of our regular shooters present. This was due to some competing shooting in other places in the province (and maybe the cool morning). We were happy to have a visit to the range by Nine C., (Bert's sister), during her tour of the province.
Today, Don M. was the match director and also the head scorer. Wayne K. was the score verifier and helped withstats. The targets were changed by Bruce B., Mike C. and Ben F. The Range Officers were David C., Ben F. and Bert deV. The wonderful banana bread, drinks and the sandwiches for our lunch were brought by David C. Thanks to all who lent a hand today to make this an enjoyable event for our shooters.
