MARCH 2, 2019 - LAKE GEORGE - 22 RIMFIRE BR - RESULTS

On Saturday, March 2, 2109, the third and final Terry McNeill Memorial Shoot was held at the Lake George Gun Club. What a beautiful day!!! Thanks to Bruce and his crew, the parking lot, paths to the target backstops and washrooms were nicely shovelled for easy access. The new hanging mats were extremely helpful, cutting down the glare from the sun and snow. 
Twelve shooters were in the Open Class and five participated in the Sporter Class. We welcomed one new shooter, Dale H., who is a promising marksman.  
The match director was Bruce B. and the Scorekeepers were Dave C. and Carl J. The Range Officers were Bruce B., Darryl K. and Barb J. The Target Changers were Cecil H., Gerard D. and Barb J. For lunch Bruce B. brought delicious chill, rolls, and drinks and Barb J. brought sweets. 
Congratulations to John M. who came first in Open Class with his new firearm and Cecil H. followed in second place. In Sporter Class Danny G. came first and Bill H. came second. 
When the three shoots were finalized, beautiful plaques were presented to the over-all winners. (For the scores of the 3 match shooters, please see the following post.)The First Place Winner in Open Class was Darryl K. and Cecil H. second.  In Sporter Class, First Place went to Danny G. and Second Place went to Bruce B. As a final gesture to all participants, Bruce presented wrapped gifts to every participant, which was a lovely closing to this Terry Mc Neill Memorial Shoot. We had Bert in our thoughts today and we wish him a speedy recovery.
