We had a terrific day shooting a "Fun Shoot" with 9 shooters taking part. For the first time in a long time, we shot at 150yds instead of the normal 100yds. This was challenging in itself and many found that their rifles, which shot very well at 100yds, did not perform as well at 150yds. Of course, this had a lot to do with the fact that the wind was strong and all over the place as far as we could determine without the usual number of wind flags. It was predicted to be much stronger later in the day but this did not materialize. It was damp and cool and the targets came back from the stands looking a bit limp.
As this was an "Any Rifle/Any sight" Fun Match, shooters could bring a low powered scope and were assisted by Volker T. with his spotting scope for sighting. 
Today, the Match Director was John McC. Don M. was the head scorer while John McC. verified the scores. John was a busy man what with shooting, scoring, recording and changing targets at times. Other target changers were Tony L. and Bert deV. while Darryl K. and Bert deV. were the ROs for the day.
