The first quarterly meeting of the Minto Gun Club was held today at 9:45A.M. with eight members present. After the meeting was finished, some members stayed for the first rimfire BR shoot of the new season in Minto.
It was a bitterly cold, windy day with temperatures around -27C first thing in the morning. It did not warm up much during the day, but thanks to Wayne K. the clubhouse was warm and cozy. The greatest shock came on the firing line as the cold and wind were unforgiving on the fingers (as well as the rest of us).
Everyone helped out which allowed events to run smoothly. Ben F. and Shawn R. changed the targets, Wayne K. and Guy H. scored the targets, David C. looked after the Range Officers, madecoffee, and passed out medals. Barb J. took the pics, wrote the write-up and provided the goodies. Congratulations to the winners (and to everyone for hanging in).
