Awesome day today at the Petitcodiac Range with eight shooters participating in the centerfire event. Wind was a bit twitchy but manageable. The big issue today was some unrelenting mirage. Very often you had to give it a best guess as the sight picture would not clear. Regardless a good time was had by all and some people even shot pretty well. Bert deV. prevailed with an awesome 300/18X.
Second place was had by Don M., closing with a perfect 100 in his last relay... a strong close Don, well done. We had a tie for third between Malcolm McA. and Tony L. with Malcolm edging Tony out for the bronze medal with 13/X’s. ROs today were Malcolm McA. and Bruce B. Target setters and retrievers were Malcolm McA., Bruce B. and John McC. Match director and scorer was Dan G. assisted by John McClusky as verifier. Sweets provided by Shelly C. and Dan G.
