The trip was very interesting for those who traveled down the Saint John River valley with water over the road in several places and lots of wildlife - many geese and ducks on endless stretches of water and a few moose near or on the road.
The wonderful weather continued at the range - although the strong wind felt a bit chilly despite the sun. The wind was indeed strong - likely
30 to 40km/hr in sustained gusts. It did calm a little toward the end of the match but there were still many surprises when the wind conditions were not read correctly - ouch!! Despite this, there was some very good shooting and independent of the scores at the end, we had a good time shooting and chin wagging.
Today, Dan G. was the Match Director and head scorer. John McC. and Chris S. did the score verifying. Targets were set and changed by a large crew of Chris S., Volker T., Cecil H., George M., John Mo., Dave C., Gerard D. and John McC. The ROs for the match were John McC., Darryl K., and Volker T.
The irresistible treats were brought by Barb J. and Shelly C. Many thanks to all who lent a hand to make this shoot possible.
