OCTOBER 4, 2015 - MINTO CENTERFIRE MATCH - RESULTS

It was a gorgeous fall day in New Brunswick for the October 4th Centerfire Open and Sporter shoot in Minto. Eleven shooters from Mazerolle Settlement to Moncton turned to have some fun with friends. Some pretty good shooting today with almost all competitors in the 290s. Some shooters had some equipment problems while others had timing problems. One word of advice - don't bump your scope during a relay! It's not good for your composure or your score.

The day started out kind of cool with frost on the grass. This quickly warmed up to the upper teens by afternoon. The sky remained clear and sunny which was a bit of a handicap for shooters sensitive to some glare. The wind was a generally steady 10 - 12kph from right to left, although some gusts and some heavier winds were observed during some of the relays.

Thanks to Match Director and scorer Wayne K. for his work on this match. Thanks also to Don M. who verified Wayne's scoring and awesome math skills. Thanks to Grant P. Sr. who was the tough ol' RO for the entire match and to the crew of John McC., Bert deV. and Dave C. who changed the targets with finesse!
